Once there was a Snowman

Sunday the snow continued until about noon.  There was no church.  Since we do not get snow that often we went out to build a snow man. We know it is not the most "churchy" thing to do but hey there is a Snowman song in primary. The kids had fun. We made the snowman and threw snowballs.  Ethan and Sydney did not want to come in for lunch. "One more snow angle" they said.  Haily slipped on the sled and got tired of the runny nose. Today the snow is slowly melting.  It is cold 36 degrees.  But the temp is suppose to get warmer and by New Years day it could be 60 degrees.

Christmas Morning

The Harper kids had to many presents from Santa this year.  the kids did a good job not getting up to early.  Ethan came out of his room around 7:00.  The girls came down shortly there after, with encouragement from their brother.  The kids did a good job taking turns opening presents.  Ethan said that the best present he go this year was  the Wii.  Ethan is already an expert Wii bowler.  Sydney says that her best present was Rainbow Dash pony (My Little Pony).  Haily says her best presents was the red Tricycle and the really BIG dollhouse.  Mom said that hers is the video camera (we need a video card) and of course her chocolates.  As for me I enjoyed the fun day together and the electric shaver.

White Christmas

For the first time in 47 years we saw snow on Christmas.  The children were so excited.  I had bought a sled earlier in the week when they were forcasting 1-3 inches, but as it got closer to Christmas the forecast was for a dusting.  We were quite excited to see the snow start to fall at about 4pm.  The kids were also excited because Santa brought them gloves and mittens.  We were able to get lots of snow pictures.  They can't wait to go out again.

HELLO

This is the Eric and Tracy Harper Family starting our own blog.  We know we are late to the party.  Tracy has been talking about starting a family blog for what seems like years.  For some reason she wanted me to set it up for like I am an expert or something.  Any way we plan on documenting our lives so family and friends will be able to keep track of our comings and goings.  Let us thank you in advance for your interest and love. -Eric

P.S.  Those who know me know that I am a terrible speller so let me apologise in advance for misspelled words.
